My career as a tradesman started like many others. I finished school once I completed year 10 and worked as a furniture polisher at a cabinet making company.
I then took up an apprenticeship in Shop Fitting and Detailed Joinery. I completed my apprenticeship with a high end custom joinery manufacturer. During my training I won two awards for highest pass mark First Place at North Sydney TAFE for 2 years in a row. This was a personal highlight for me, and receiving these awards was very encouraging and rewarding.
I was able to specialize in exclusive residential projects, and a wide range of corporate and commercial joinery projects within the retail, government and hospitality sectors.
All of the residential joinery work that I crafted was for some of Sydney’s most exclusive and highly sought after homes. Such joinery included contemporary kitchens and spacious bathrooms, some of which have been showcased in prominent Architecture & Design magazines, gaining exposure nationally and internationally.
After 7 years, I heard the calling of being my own boss, and followed in the footsteps of many others before me. In 2006, Nail It Maintenance & Build was created. After 3 years, I have built and maintained good relationships with all of my clients, and I strive to work within their budgets to achieve the required outcome.
From installing a new kitchen or constructing a full decking, to cleaning the gutters and doing a tip run, no job around the house is too big or too small. If you have a commercial fit out to work on, I have a vast array of experience in this area as well, and would be more than happy to discuss your needs.
